Inail Multidisciplinary Team Art. 4
The supply of Prosthetic assistance services is carried out, as a rule, in a "personalized prosthetic rehabilitation plan" directed to the rehabilitation and familiar, professional and social re-integration.
The personalized prosthetic rehabilitation plan is developed by a multidisciplinary team that takes into custody workers in the grave situations of work injury and occupational disease.
Art. 4 (multidisciplinary team)
Multidisciplinary Teams are composed of specialists who work at the Centre:
- At Head Office, the 1° level team is composed of: manager of the work procedures, medical director and socio- educational official. The team evaluates the global patient's condition and defines the interventions, creating a personalized prosthetic rehabilitation process;
- At regional Office, the 2° level team is composed of: manager of the institutional activities, medical director, manager of socio- educational office. The team coordinates and directs the first level teams in case of serious and complicated situations, in order to guarantee law and operating standardization.
Multidisciplinary Teams can be integrated by other INAIL specialists (technical consultant for building, educator, communicator, computer official) in particular cases.
For the implementation of the personalized prosthetic rehabilitation plan, the first level teams and the second level teams can use the technical competences of multidisciplinary team of the INAIL Prostheses centre Vigorso di Budrio and, only for physiatric advice, the specialized staff of the motor rehabilitation centre of Volterra.
In case of tested further necessity or in the absence of specialists in the Centre, it's possible to ask an external advices to accredited and recognized ( by public institutions) organizations.
